Angelic

Angelic combines turn-based strategy combat with a narrative RPG, all supported by a collaboratively created sci-fi setting, thanks to blockchain technology. By joining the game, players join the ranks of "angels".

The story

In the 28th century, 200 years after the interpersonal war between corporations and the neo-people, the long-forgotten "angels" have returned from deep space. The corporations have long dominated Earth, and the arrival of the neo-humans has been greatly feared. Especially after they discovered there was a dreadful and hostile fungus spreading in their deep-space colonies. This plague can infect any kind of living organism.

You are no longer a human. You have transcended and now you are known as Phoenix, a unique neo-human prototype. You were created by Iset the Mother herself, who is a goddess, your redeemer and companion.

You will meet other companions on your adventure. These potential allies may have different abilities, plans, motivations and desires. Together with your team, you will leave a deep mark in this universe. Even though the Angelic universe’s fate does not depend on you, your decisions may have long lasting consequences.

Gameplay

Single Player

Players will command a spaceship, which is home for them and their allies. They will be able to talk to their companions, customize and upgrade them.

All companions are unique characters and make no mistake, they are NOT just soldiers. Most of them are much more powerful than the players themselves and each of them has different motivations and goals. They may like players, hate them or fall in love with them. Things can get quite complicated, and it will not be easy for players as their leader, to keep them in line. They all have unique abilities, so it's best to convince them to stay together. Otherwise, the fight may be much more difficult for you.

Story context: Osiris, the main ship commanded by the players, is a special ghost ship designed by Iset the Mother, a goddess and legendary character. Her abilities are beyond comprehension. The players are incredibly special. Mother Iset saved them. They are now neo-humans. They are a prototype and only Iset knows their true potential. It will be up to everyone to progress, but one thing is for sure: They will become the next archangels.

Multiplayer

Angelic also offers its players an amazing multiplayer gaming experience. Users can go directly to multiplayer mode or complete single player campaigns first.

In the multiplayer world, while playing the game, users create their own character (avatar) and join neo-human alliances.

Players can also create a guild or join one of the existing ones to play the game cooperatively with their friends and other players.

The main goal should be the main missions' gradual fulfillment.

Multiplayer mode also offers hundreds of side missions, where players can thoroughly explore the deep Angelic universe.

There will also be cooperative battles. Players can join these missions with their friends. Co-Ops will mostly be against groups of dangerous enemies, such as creatures infested with the deadly fungus.

Characters

There are four types of characters in Angelic.

NFT Heroes and Crew Members

They can be designed by both developers or community members. Players can purchase or rent them from the creators.

NFT Heroes

They can have different roles in combat. Strategy-wise, they can serve different tactical roles, and they can even provide indirect bonuses for players and their guilds.

Crew Members

Non-combat characters, mainly used for enhancing ship abilities or sometimes required for strategic roles such as maintaining ships, healing heroes, repairing items, etc.

Non-Playable Character (NPC)

They cannot be owned directly by players, and they populate the Angelic metaverse by fulfilling specific roles. However, content creators and developers can offer cosmetic variation NFTs for some of the major NPCs.

Main Heroes

They are designed by the development team, and playable by all in the single player mode. Main heroes will also assist you in the multiplayer mode. They are all included in the base game package of Angelic. You do not need to pay extra to play with them. That also means that nobody can fully own them.

Iset the Mother

Iset, called as “the Mother” by neo-humans, and referred as “the Goddess” by many. Iset is the very first neo-human created by Angelicon.

Phoenix

Phoenix was a top tier military pilot, working for human corporations.

Daeva

Daeva is an archangel, a very old and powerful neo-human, Aisar, capable of manipulating matter and gravity and can harness dark energy.

Odile the Black Swan

Odile is an infested human lady. When the infestation touches you, it takes only a couple of minutes until it captures your entire body and turns you into something else.

Seliné “Nightingale” Vivarri

Seliné is a second-generation neo-human. She utilizes an enhanced version of a standard female neohuman body, with a cool holographic face projection feature.

Zarya “Aurora” Mólnija

She is one of the two heroes who has a human origin. Technically, she is an Eugenic (genetically crafted and modified superhuman) hero. Eugenic people are both lucky and unlucky, they have super abilities and talents, but they also lack a family and a proper childhood.

Xander Aidan

Xander is a war veteran and a former stormtrooper of Hoshi Ryū and Celtic Triquetra corporations. He left the Earth when he was just a kid following his father, and joined the military.

Rumbrogon

Rumbrogon is a surviving alien creature, a hero belonging to the warriors of massive fearlessness and intimidation.

He wields a giant two-handed sword; and thanks to his unreal regeneration skills (a side benefit of being infested) he becomes a terrifying force.
