For a metaverse game, playability must come first. We hope that the players, through their love of the game, will persevere and complete the game, then make a profit as a secondary achievement, and not the other way around. Bearing this in mind, our goal is to develop excellent gameplay to attract players and make BurgerCities one of the best metaverse games out there.
About the Game
BurgerCities is an NFT-focused metaverse that offers several activities for players. The NFTs consist of Heroes, Props and Lands.
Genesis Heroes: they are the core heroes in BurgerCities. Users can level them up to earn more $BURGER, play games, and perform certain in-game tasks. They can be traded in the Dining Room.
Land: landowners are allowed to build and develop their towns. They can take a break from their buildings and rent them out to other users.
Props: these are consumables that can be crafted by heroes from various collected materials. They can also be traded.
Players were able to wear skins before, but now all the NFT skins have a buff effect on their character’s abilities.
The BurgerCities metaverse has various establishments where users can go to perform certain tasks and activities. For instance:
Black Market: users can trade digital assets and swap them on the BSC Speaking with the NPC in charge of the Black Market unlocks more gameplay in the future.
Central Bank: users can stake single-tokens, such as BNB, BUSD, and USDT to earn $USDT. The bank shows the user the details of different pools to help them make the best financial decision
Energy Plant: users may provide liquidity to new or existing pools to earn $BURGER in return. The more assets they deposit in the pool, the more $BURGER they earn
Dining Room: users can rent or trade heroes.
BurgerCities offers different game modes:
- Battle Function: it is a fully automated battle system. The battle has a maximum of 20 rounds to defeat the opponent. If the player fails to do so, it will count as a defeat. Players can place a maximum of 4 heroes during each battle
- Main Chapter (PvE): this game mode is divided into General and Elite. The Elite mode only means a higher level of difficulty with better rewards
- Arena Hall: players can challenge other players’ teams
NFT Heroes come with their own element - Water, Fire, Wind, Earth, Light, and Dark. These elements affect exploration and PvP battles. The exploration land is divided into different elements, so when heroes explore in a specific location containing their element, the efficiency of their exploration increases. Users may earn $GOLD and in-game items while exploring, which can then be used to craft props. Moreover, heroes can participate in PvP battles, in which their element will be essential. Each element has an advantage over one other element.
Players who own NFT Heroes must evolve them to keep playing. Evolving a hero means that a new feature called Courage is added to it. The ability is helpful to judge the first move in the battle function. Also, the hero receives more card effects, and the player receives 2 $BURGERS by evolving it.
At the start of each month, there is a monthly sign-in event. The event consists of signing into the game every day for the entire month. Signing in every day rewards the player with $GOLD and game items. Those who managed to sign in for the whole month can share a pool of 10,000 $BURGERS.

Engaging with users is a very important aspect of any project nowadays, and they seem to be killing it in that regard. Also, they offer a Free-To-Play mode, but with a twist. Although it is free to enter the platform, users have to either rent or buy an NFT in order to unlock certain features, including the chance to make more money. So, the investment is kind of necessary. On that same note, the website and whitepaper are very vague. There are only a few pieces of good information, but other than that, it is very limited. One of the most important pieces of information is the team behind the project, and they left it out, so it makes the project look unreliable.
Overall, there are a few things missing that I consider important. I would need to have more information to actually commit to investing.”
