How are the NFT and Apparel Markets Connected?

We have prepared some interesting data for you, read from the blockchain. We focused on NFT projects of world-famous brands such as Nike, Adidas, Gucci, Lacoste, and Dolce & Gabbana. Below, we provide a more detailed look at three of them.

I)NIKE
Nike is the NFT pioneer among global brands. They made almost USD 184 million in net profit with their NFT strategy. Half of that is royalty profit (fees for reselling NFTs). In addition, Nike gave away USD 42 million from this half to their NFT fans through NFT airdrops.

II) Dolce & Gabbana

With its entry into the NFT industry in April, DG earned a fairly solid amount compared to its total earnings. We can track only a few of the associated NFT resale fees. NFT holders thus apparently want to be part of this VIP community. By holding their NFTs, they are promised unspecified benefits from the Dolce & Gabbana brand.

III) Adidas

Adidas, like Nike, received almost half of its NFT earnings from royalties. Compared to Nike, they only have one successful collection which they made, among others, in collaboration with the well-known BYAC.
