Mines of Dalarnia Developers Reveal Plans for 2023

The developers of Mines of Dalaria have shared their upcoming news for the first half of 2023, and reviewed the previous year.

In the past year, the Mines of Dalarnia developers have focused on adding new content, improving the game's security system and upgrading the game's economy. All these innovations have led to several event and content modes, Holos, land economy 2.0 improvements, and finally Update 1.1: Deeper Depths in the past year.

By the end of 2023, the developers are planning to have improved the early game, launched the multiplayer mode, and expanded the Miners objectives. With better onboarding, the developers want to grow their community and allow new players to try the game for free.

As part of the plans for 2023, a new Road Map has been released, which outlines the plans for the first 6 months of the year. The developers note that some features and dates may change, and not all plans are reflected on the Road Map. The reason for delays or changes to plans, as ever, are due to ever-changing rules and regulations that affect development. One example of this is the mobile companion app, which has not yet been released because the App store has issued new guidelines that have forced developers to reconsider the release. This doesn't mean that it has been canceled; rather, it has been delayed until the developers are sure that the app won’t encounter any issues with being released on the App store.

Road Map for Q1 and Q2 2023

Plans for the second half of the year will be shaped and adjusted during the first half of the year, based on the findings of the period. The aim is also to improve communication between developers and players; i.e., to reorganize the structure so that they are able to provide information more quickly, in more detail and more frequently.

The developers have also warned players that not all changes can be made right away and everything takes time, but they believe that with each passing quarter, Mines of Dalarnia will get a little bit better.
