Rally races and other news from Decentraland

Decentraland is one of the biggest metaverse projects so far. It is very easy to try it, and for free none the less. You can also find more information in the project analysis: Decentraland

DecentRally Game

Since August you can take part in races in the metaverse. The game consists of two tracks and has all the basic features you want in a racing game: multiplayer, obstacles, boosters and more.

The game is embedded in Decentraland thanks to the Infinity Engine code – the same that previously made it possible to experience a wild west chase in the metaverse and defend a train full of loot from horsed bandits.

Just log in as a Guest user, choose your avatar, and then launch the game in the metaverse.

Interconnection with Satoshiverse

NFT collections from the Satoshiverse can now be equipped to your avatar in Decentraland.

The Linked Wearables feature was first added to Decentraland back in April 2022 thanks to the DAO proposal. Linked Wearables are 3D representations of NFTs that come from outside of Decentraland. However, they are not ordinary Wearables. They do not exist within traditional NFT collections, have no rarity, and cannot be sold on Decentraland's primary or secondary markets. They are only representations in the Decentraland world mapped to external NFTs. And what is it for? They give use to your NFTs, allow you to meet other community people, organize community events, and raise your awareness of other projects.

Launching New SDK

The project announced the launch of a new SDK: Decentraland SDK 7. The Decentraland SDK allows developers to create scenes in TypeScript (JavaScript + types).

The new version is expected to improve usability, performance, and portability.

This new SDK 7 version also focuses on making the scene creation experience accessible to everyone, not just developers.

NFT Tickets to Metaverse Events

In August, the "Fanz" platform was launched, allowing metaverse event creators to make and sell secure tickets. With the new dApp, users can create, search, sell, resell, and buy event tickets in the metaverse using the Fanz platform control panel.

Other News

The Decentraland Foundation maps potential threats to the project and responds to them immediately. User data security is one of the project priorities.

In addition, it is now possible to participate in various creative competitions for interesting prizes in Decentraland.
