A limited amount of Blanko Bucks can also be earned from party pass awards and in-game events.

Once the player completes their registration, they will be given a free party pass, which includes their free Blankos character NFT.

The party pass is a way to earn rewards for playing the game.

Party passes are seasonal and reward players with hype points as they play the game and complete the set challenges.

Hype points enable the user to progress their party passes, unlocking small amounts of Blanko Bucks and NFT items such as new accessories, Moola, Gumballs, XP Chips, Emotes, and Blankos.

Players can also participate in special events like Build Challenges, to earn Blankos NFTs, which can be sold via the game store.

Moola can be earned by completing challenges, leveling up the Blankos, or by playing the game and progressing the party pass.

Analytic Opinion

“This game has similarities with the Web2 game, ‘Fall Guys,’ in the way that players overcome obstacles and compete with other players, but there is also a lot more to it.

The game has a number of quests, inventory areas and other activities, with a wide variety of collectibles such as emotes, cosmetics, and accessories, all of which have so many options for variety and customization.

The characters can compete across many different activities and blocks, some of which have been user-created, which makes the game quite unique.

The platform for the game is utilized very well and characters are easy to control, with the game as a whole being simple and clean to navigate, including the marketplace. The character design in this game is also straightforward - reminiscent of LEGO - with a couple of different base models  with a number of skins. The small details show the care that has gone into character design, and the collaborations with famous brands also highlights the design side of the game, as well as creating several avenues for purchases.

Even the characters with basic move sets come with some extra powers, meaning that there is fun playability at every entry point.

Since the launch of the game, a number of bugs have been reported and addressed by the company as well, via their Twitter. Some of the bugs reported were related to in-game progress, such as incorrectly calculated XP points.

As well as these XP issues, some players had been unable to get their rewards, despite having completed the weekly challenges.

In my opinion, this game is not a get-rich-quick opportunity, but is more gameplay-focused. This is a promising point, though, as the expectations of blockchain gamers have shifted more towards playability than forced Play-To-Earn game mechanics.

Although the team and developer company behind the game have good reputations, the fact that there is no whitepaper or clear roadmap, is a concern.”

Blankos Block Party is a party-style NFT-based video game that allows players to play with their friends in a series of mini video games.

Blankos Block Party consists of various game modes, types, grades, modes and skills.

Although the main focus is on multiplayer gaming, there are also single player games in which the player can race against the time to get themselves on the leaderboard.

The multiplayer game is called ‘Blankos Brawl’ and is based on players competing with each other to be the Brawl Champion.

This section can be played in 3 different modes:

  • Racing: Players proceed through a series of checkpoints on a road, racing against each other
  • Shooting: A regular shooting game with a special deathmatch feature
  • Vibe Collects: Players compete to pick up a range of different vibes - pink, blue, yellow or orange lightning bolts that have been placed around a specific area of the game

Players compete either by collecting the most number of vibes in a certain amount of time, or to become the player who collects all the vibes before everyone else. Each vibe has value points according to their colors and some vibes can only be collected once before disappearing, while others can be collected by everyone. The other type of vibes will not disappear and can be collected by everyone.

Players will be able to display bronze, silver or gold pins depending on the tasks they have completed, with the colors determining the difficulty of the completed tasks.

Leaderboard positions will be determined by the number of gold pins earned and games won, with higher positions being rewarded with in-game items and small amounts of Blankos.

As well as multiplayer games, players can join trials or can use building mode to create their own games with the help of items, materials and decorations.

Players also can invite their group of friends to a special block party as a private event.

There are also styles and skills in the game, which may vary depending on the season. Each style will have its own specific power moves, which will enhance some of the characters’ abilities.

Players can choose to play in:

  • Tracer style: For a fast-paced tracer-style game
  • Tanker style: Where there are more traps and shields
  • Wrecker style: Where the player can do a bit more damage

Within each game style, players receive specific powers and can  add further attributes to their characters, such as the ability to jump higher or run faster, extra power via battery packs, armor, or the ability to spin.

Players then choose the mini-game game they want to play, from hundreds of options.

Once the player enters the Blankos Ecosystem, they will start playing with a basic character. Initially, this character will not have any skills, clothing, accessories or detail, but players can purchase clothes, accessories or in-game  items in the form of NFTs from the Blankos (Mythical) Marketplace.

In addition, the brand collaborations mean that players will be able to purchase Burberry armbands, pool shoes, or limited edition Deadmau5 Blankos NFTs.

Each Blankos has different, unique skills, which can be changed and used in game.

As players level up, they will be able to unlock more skills and apply them to their Blankos.

Players can also join daily, weekly and seasonal set challenges to earn further rewards and upgrades.

There will be 3 main grades in the game: Fair, Good & Excellent, and 2 premium grades: Mint (MT), (Gem Rush) and Gem Mint (Gem Rush). These levels are determined by the amount of the XP gained by players.

Each grade consists of 15 levels that must be completed before the player can advance to the next grade.

Once the players reach the top of Level 15 on any grade, they will be able to move to the next grade (tier).
