Crowns are a conversion of $CRT.

Crowns are not only used as rewards, but also as the in-game currency. For example, these coins are used to upgrade NFT characters and weapons, open loot boxes, unlock in-game assets, recruit characters, and buy contracts and lucrative rewards.

Cantina Royale offers a scholarship program for those who cannot afford to level up and upgrade their NFTs. This program consists of NFT holders choosing scholars to lend NFTs to, so they can use them to progress in the game. The NFT owners retain control of their assets, and the profits are split between the two parties.

Players can earn Crowns by playing through the PvP and PvE game modes, or by lending their NFT to other users, which will earn Crowns for both owner and borrower.

NFT characters and weapons can also be traded for $CRT on the marketplace, and players can earn $CRT by staking both $CRT and NFTs.

Owning an NFT increases the chance of getting more and better rewards, depending on its rarity.

“I think this game is very easy to understand and get started playing, which makes it accessible for everyone. Even nongamers can get a sense of what is going on and learn the mechanics of the game. Also, another great thing about it is the fact that there is no requirement to start playing; you don’t even have to connect your crypto wallet. Finally, seeing a Free-To-Play model is always music to my ears, because players can try the game out first, before deciding if they want to invest in it.

However, the game does reward the big spenders more than any other user. Buying an NFT and putting money into the game gets players better rewards, which makes them stronger and better at the game. So, even though it is a Free-To-Play game, there is a huge gap between the rewards available to players. Moreover, the game’s graphics are very poor. I wouldn’t say they are the worst I’ve seen, but they could have tried to add a greater, smoother range of movements to the characters.

Overall, I would give it a try as it is Free-To-Play and doesn’t require any up-front purchase to get started.”

Cantina Royale is a Free-To-Play, Play-To-Earn NFT shooting game, in which players can do battle either against the game’s AI or other users in various game modes.

There are two game modes for players:

PvE game mode: This game mode allows 1-4 players to enter the mission and raid together for treasure while fighting against enemies, bandits, and bots. There is a set of daily missions with a progressive level of difficulty.  

Multiplayer PvP game mode: Players battle against each other in the arena, and only the most powerful team will survive and get rewarded. The arena can host up to 50 players at the same time. There are four types of PvP:

• 1V1 Match: Two players enter the arena to fight each other. The last man standing wins the match
• Free-For-All: Four to eight players fight against each other. There are no teams formed in this game  mode. The player with the highest kill count is the winner
• Team Deathmatch: Four to eight players get together to form a team to battle against other teams. The team that eliminates all the rival team’s players wins the battle
• Team Objective: Four to eight players team up to complete certain tasks. The team has to try to finish the objectives before the other teams

The NFT characters also have different rarity levels; the higher their rarity, the more tokens players can earn.

Each character gets their own stats, which can be upgraded by spending Crowns to make the NFT stronger; for example, Vitality, Defense, and Agility. Also, each NFT character is assigned two random perks or special abilities. The more exclusive the NFT, the better the perks they can receive.
