Analytic Opinion

“The game looks very sophisticated, and the concept itself is fascinating. However, knowing this industry, it’s still too early to make bold guesses. I’m curious to see how it all turns out, and I only hope for the best, as 3D shooters are my favorite genre.”

EFAS is an open-world game in a galaxy that is constantly expanding. It has no set plot, so the development of the game and its world depends entirely on the players.

Weapons and equipment

The game will feature several types of firearms such as pistols, submachine guns, rifles, shotguns, energy bows, grenade launchers, biochemical weapons, etc. Each type will have two firing modes. Weapons will also include a wide range of tactical equipment from grenades to black-hole generators. These weapons and equipment can be obtained in various ways, such as research and development, purchasing, stealing from convoys, etc.

Multiplayer and Companion system

There will be many ways to interact with other players in EFAS, for example participating in co-op missions and dueling against each other. Players can trade, date, give gifts, rob, hold each other hostage, and make friends. They can also become another player’s subordinate, or marry and have children.

Ships and fleets

Players can find ship builders and docks on planets, space stations, and in other locations. Here they can buy or build their own spacecraft. There will also be the option to create their own fleet, to expand weapons cargo bays, troop accommodation, etc.

Troops

Players can find a recruiter on each planet and space station to recruit troops, a crucial strategic factor in battles. Therefore, it will be important for players to choose the best number and combination of different types of troops.

War machines and drones

Players will find and use different machines on planets. The team is currently working on hoverbikes, rovers, tanks, and more.

Hostile encounters

When two hostile fleets meet in space, a battle will begin. As generals, players will have to command their armies and use tactics to win. Absolutely anything is allowed during a battle, for example taking a vehicle and fighting on the front lines, or commanding from the rear.

Conquest

In EFAS, it will be possible to conquer planets and space stations, whether to get mineral deposits or more space. Players will face fortified cities and a steady stream of enemy reinforcements. When players see their faction emblem flying above a city, it means they have conquered it.

Commanding

When a player’s influence grows so large that they can no longer rule on their own, they can invite another player to take command of some territory.

City management

Cities can be conquered through conquest battles, but also built and purchased. Players will have to manage these cities to keep the inhabitants happy and gain their support. Cities will play an important role in faction growth. For example, through scientific research a university can make new breakthroughs that can be used to create entirely new weapons. Yet this will only be possible if that university is and funded.

Players will also collect taxes from the cities every month.
