About the Game

Lord of Dragons is a persistent universe game, so players will log in with their respective characters and participate in various activities as they choose. Hunting, dueling other players, doing daily quests, and completing dungeons in big raids to defeat bosses and get rewards.

The characters are divided into 3 different collections, in which each one of them is a different race: Beny, Luchia, and Arche. They also come in different rarity levels: normal, rare, super rare, and epic.

Each race has its own strengths in weapons. For example, the Beny race is good at Bow and Rapier. So, if players want to specialize in a specific weapon, they have to own an NFT that suits that kind of weapon.

The rarity level has an impact on the abilities, such as HP, MP, move speed, and attack speed.

The Multi-Weapon system is fundamental to the gameplay:

  • There are six types of different weapons (six more to come eventually)
  • Each character has three weapon slots, promoting more dynamic battles
  • There are currently three character races, some better or worse, wielding specific weapons
  • Each weapon has advantages and disadvantages against others

The character’s equipment will determine the play style and the combat abilities. Having rarer equipment pieces will grant better performance on the battlefield.

Players can also enter PvE and PvP Sieges to obtain special rewards and skill points, which will boost the character’s fighting power. These Sieges, like the Boss Raids, will host more than 15 players at once.

Special NFT items will be issued as rewards in limited quantities to offer power advantages and give characters access to more LORT currency and unique quests.

Owning an NFT gives the player access to the NFT Reward Dungeon. Players can earn additional rewards in $LORT based on their NFT rarity level.

Users only need to download and install the APK on their smartphones if they want to play on Android or iOS. As for PC, players can download it and run it with an emulator like BlueStack.

It is a basic in-game reward currency; players can earn $LORT by completing ten daily quests. This token is used for weapon revamps and will encourage user competition. Some $LORT will be issued initially to kickstart the game’s economy; users will only get $LORT through in-game play after this period.

Total Token Supply: 1,000,000,000

It is a Governance token. It will be awarded to outstanding players with specific accomplishments and experience, allowing them to decide the game’s future.

There are no current staking programs at the moment.

“Lord of Dragons offers a somewhat fun traditional experience to the smartphone gaming world. Some of the game’s issues revolve around some stiffness that can be perceived in the gameplay. I personally think modern gaming requires less static fighting mechanics to attract more users and make the experience more innovative and unique.

The developers must find a way to distinguish themselves from the competition because there are so many MMORPGs out there already.

As for the project itself, it lacks credibility since the team has yet to be introduced. The whitepaper does not show the game’s concepts in simple terms. The misunderstanding could be due to translation issues or the team’s inexperience regarding MMORPGs in English gaming terminology.

I see nothing wrong with trying out Lord of Dragons and checking if it is for you, but I already see a bunch of better alternatives in the mobile gaming department.”
