About the Game
Plant Empires is an engaging and immersive free-to-play strategic game that offers both PvE and PvP modes for players to enjoy. This game caters not only to traditional gamers but also to those seeking a unique gaming experience. Drawing inspiration from the popular game Plants vs. Zombies, Plant Empires expands upon its foundation by introducing a variety of game modes and the opportunity to collect valuable NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and rewards.
Set in the 22nd century, Plant Empires presents a post-apocalyptic world where a devastating meteor strike has decimated the global population, leaving behind a mysterious virus that transforms individuals into zombies. With no known cure in sight, scientists have developed a formula that empowers plants to serve as humanity's last line of defense against the relentless zombie hordes.
At the outset of the game, players embark on their journey armed with a free non-NFT 1-star plant. By completing tasks and quests, they can upgrade their plants to 2-star status, earning tokens and coveted NFT items along the way. Additionally, players have the option to connect their wallets to the in-game marketplace, enabling them to acquire superior plants. Plant Empires features five distinct plant types, each possessing different rarity levels (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Mythical, and Legendary) and unique statistics:
- Farmer: These plants excel in farming-related tasks and possess superior farming statistics.
- DPS: Designed for offensive prowess, these plants boast exceptional attacking capabilities.
- Tanker: Exhibiting remarkable endurance, tanker plants possess elevated health statistics.
- Supporter: These plants possess the ability to heal, making them invaluable in sustaining the team's vitality.
The game incorporates a laboratory feature, allowing players to engage in various activities involving surplus items, orbs, or plants. This includes the creation of new plants, enhanced orbs, chests, box orbs, and other items by combining unwanted resources. Orbs, in particular, enhance plant abilities such as attack power and resistance, with their value determined by their rarity level.
Plant Empires offers a diverse range of game modes to cater to different play styles and preferences:
- Story Mode (PvE): Players confront hordes of zombies across multiple maps, leading a team of up to four plants. To augment their chances of success, players can utilize additional items to empower their team. Completion of each level rewards players with experience points, gold, and orbs for their plants.
- Arena Mode (PvP): Unlike traditional player-versus-player battles, Arena Mode pits players against an equal number of zombies. The player who accumulates the highest total points emerges victorious. Successful participants earn gPEFI, an in-game token. Each player receives five entry tickets per day to partake in PvP battles.
- Farming Mode: This mode enables players to acquire seed resources by diligently tending to their plants through regular watering. However, players must remain vigilant, as other players can raid their camps to steal their hard-earned seeds. Moreover, zombies pose a constant threat and must be repelled to safeguard the plants.
- In-game Events: These time-limited events offer players the opportunity to complete specific challenges and earn superior rewards compared to other game modes. These events are designed to inject excitement and variety into the gameplay experience.
Plant Empires combines strategic gameplay, collectible NFTs, and a diverse array of game modes to provide players with an immersive and rewarding gaming experience. With its post-apocalyptic setting and innovative mechanics, the game is poised to captivate both casual and dedicated gamers alike.
To start playing Plant Empires, players simply need to download the app on their smartphones. There are no specific requirements other than having a compatible smartphone to run the game.
Plant Empires has two types of tokens: $PEFI and gPEFI.
- Total Token Supply: 300,000,000
- Players can use $PEFI to open Gacha boxes, buy plants in the marketplace, stake it to earn NFT items, and upgrade land.
- Total Token Supply: Unknown
- Players can convert gPEFI into $PEFI once the balance reaches 5,000 gPEFI. gPEFI can also be used to reduce harvest time and make purchases in the in-game store.
Players can earn gPEFI by actively playing the game, winning battles, and engaging in various activities. Additionally, they have the opportunity to earn $PEFI through the conversion of gPEFI, participating in the marketplace trading, and generating revenue from NFT Land.
By staking $PEFI, players can earn valuable NFT items as rewards, enhancing their in-game experience and progression.
"I used to enjoy playing Plants vs. Zombies, and Plant Empires brings back that nostalgic experience with added advantages. It closely resembles the original game in story and gameplay, but with the added benefit of earning real money. It's great that no initial investment is required, yet players can still earn tokens and NFTs. The game's diverse modes, including PvE and PvP battles, add versatility and excitement. I would definitely recommend giving Plant Empires a try."
