About the Game

In the horror shooter game The Bornless, players compete against each other and collect Incense tokens that they can invest to protect themselves from opponents in fierce battles, and also from demons. The enjoyment of the game should be enhanced by an option to play in virtual reality, which is currently being developed by the team. The third upcoming game mode is ARG (Augmented Reality Game), in which NFT owners will be able to explore the world and solve many challenges and puzzles.

NFT items
The items and characters in The Bornless are ERC-721 NFT. A total of 5,328 NFT will be introduced and split into eight collections, each representing one of the eight game characters (e.g., the detective Harry).
The Bornless e-sports tournaments are expected to launch this year.
Player Requirements
There is no mention of the Play-To-Earn mechanics, so we assume that players will have to purchase an NFT character first, and then get access to the game.
Economics
tokenomics
The tokenomics is not yet described but the website says it should be a dual-token model:
$Incense:
The basic token of the game.
Players who burn the fewest tokens will be hunted by demons in the game.
Incense tokens will be used to make in-game purchases (tools and weapons).
There will also probably be another token: Sigil.
Each NFT will have a Sigil label and one of four rarity levels: Bronze, silver, gold, and unholy.
Monetization
Players will generate profit for:
- Achievements in the game, battles, and tournaments
- Ownership of NFT according to their level (owning NFT from each of the eight collections will be an advantage)
Further information is expected in the Whitepaper.

analyst opinion
“The Bornless seems like a great shooter game with sophisticated graphics. The project team is announced and quite large. The website structure is clear, but the Whitepaper and tokenomics are yet to be published, and a detailed overview of earning options is missing. The fan base on social media is quite small, but seems active. It is too early for a final evaluation of The Bornless, as this promising project is still quite new.”
