About the Game
The game will transport players to the Earth’s post-apocalyptic period following the Great Destruction. People have returned to live as tribes but they still possess the “old” modern world technology.
The game is centered on building your team from unique and powerful characters called Companions (NFTs). They must participate in different challenges and battles in order to level-up and become a 10-star character. The characters must pass through different game stages. Each Companion is distinguished by race, rarity, and their number of stars.
There are two main game modes: Campaign mode and Idle mode.
Campaign mode: Players need to invest both time and money to form the strongest team to overcome several challenges on their way to their conquests.
Idle mode: In this mode, the game pilots the player-designated team into endless adventures. It is designed for players who make a smaller investment.
About the PvE Gameplay
This is the Combat mode, and is the first game mode the player can participate in. Here the players shall command the Companions to confront gods in order to protect their homeland.
About the PvP Gameplay
This gameplay becomes available only after players complete Area 4-1.
Players can take part in the Arena by clicking on Missions.
There are other game modes for players to explore such as Passage, Shadow Hunt (Boss fight), etc. Players can obtain in-game rewards or rewards in the form of $SO and $ANTA tokens.
Player Requirements
The player can start playing TRIBALPUNK for free, but in order to make any progress they must purchase Companions.
If the player wants to continue onto new stages and be able to participate in battles, they must have one main character and one to four Companions. These Companions are acquired by purchasing Boxes or Companions in the TRIBALPUNK marketplace with $ANTA tokens.
TRIBALPUNK is available for PC/Web right now. Android and iOS app support is coming soon.
The steps to play the game are the following:
- Go to https://www.tribalpunk.io/#home and click on ‘PLAY NOW’.
- Click on ‘Connect Wallet’ on the Binance Smart Chain (BEP20).
- Click ‘SIGN UP’ on the pop-up screen.
- Type in your email and name.
- Click ‘Link Account’.
The player will receive an email with a passcode to use to login into their account. The player can buy a character or a Box from the game’s dashboard.
In order to begin playing the game and participate in battles, the player must collect at least one Companion. Players can compose a battle formation with one main character and with one to four Companions.
Once the player clicks on ‘Play Now’ and the characters are available, a red exclamation mark is highlighted which means that there are actions to be taken.
Now the player is able to go to Camp, Combat, or Roaster.
Missions get enabled once players complete Area 4-1 in the ‘Arena’ gaming.
At Camp you are able to:
- Level up your character at the Ascension Altar.
- Reset your character stats in the Spirit Lodge.
During Combat you will:
- Face your rivals.
- Accumulate and collect rewards from the Idle Chest to level up your character.
Economics
tokenomics
To ensure the ecosystem’s sustainability and scalability there are two token models:
The $ANTA token is the governance token for TRIBALPUNK. It is issued on Binance Smart Chain. The total supply is 1,000,000,000 tokens.
They can be used for:
- Trading.
- Payment at the marketplace.
- Payment for minting hero NFTs.
- Buying Mystic Boxes.
- Staking $ANTA.
Staking $ANTA allows the player to lock their tokens via the staking dashboard to earn $ANTA rewards. This will also grant the player voting rights in the game ecosystem in the future.
The in-game currency ShinyOre ($SO) has an unlimited total supply and is the reward token.
$SO is used in the game for purposes such as:
- Play-To-Earn (P2E).
- Ascending your Companions to higher rarity level.
- Speeding up the game’s progress through some in-game features.
Monetization
The player will be rewarded with $SO tokens when doing Daily Quests on a daily basis. Upon completing a quest the player collects activity points. These points allow players to unlock Quest Chests in the menu, to obtain rewards.
More Shine Ores ($SO) can be earned by completing Areas or Stages in Combat mode. The higher the level, the more $SO the player earns.
Players get awarded with the in-game coin called Shadow Coin when completing a fight in Shadow Hunt mode. This coin is used to exchange for equipment boxes at the shop.
Staking and Staking Rewards
Besides the Play-To-Earn mechanism in the game, players can also gain passive income from locking the $ANTA token via the staking dashboard.
It allows members to earn $ANTA rewards for locking in their token, but also grants the player voting rights and a voice in the TRIBALPUNK ecosystem in the future.
The $ANTA rewards used in the stake are deducted from the Monthly Game Operating Revenue fund.
