New features in Mines of Dalarnia

Mines of Dalarnia combines combat and dungeon crawling. It brings a new experience to the action and adventure games genre and uses the power of blockchain technology. You can find the project analysis here.

New Levels

The Mines of Dalarnia creators have made two new challenging levels. The first is a level called Gilded Mines, which is one of the main gold sources in Dalarnia.

This level features new challenges and new zones to explore thanks to a new map generation algorithm.

Additionally, in other levels, such as the second of the newly released levels – Gilded Depths, so-called Healing Helper bots will be available to replenish the miners' health.

The Gilded Depths level is significantly harder. These new bots help miners stay alive, but sometimes monsters get in the way.

New Monsters

Stalks

Stalks are stationary plants that shoot spikes injuring Dalarnia miners.

Burrowers

Burrowers come out of the ground when miners least expect it and then burrow back underground.

Gold

Gold equipment is produced from a new raw material – gold, which is a reward for successful mining. It is also a support material for higher level products.

Gold-Plated Injector

Gold-Plated Injectors will be added to parcels at game launch.

Land

On each parcel you will find a resource level that ranges between 0 and 100. When you run out of resources, you need to replenish them. The rarer the resource, the higher the replenishment cost.

Replenishment costs are lower for parcels with 80 resources remaining than for parcels with 10 resources remaining.

In the new system, the most favourable period for digging will always be the first 10-20 digs.

The minimum rent for excavations will now be DAR 0.1, allowing landowners to adjust prices freely.

Terraforming Capsules

Since terraforming capsules are only a fraction of the total costs, they require fewer resources to produce.

Players who have invested in terraforming capsules will not lose their funds. It's like a stock split: one original capsule splits into several new capsules, but its value remains the same.

More Competitive Economy

Land variety continues to increase in version 1.1. The result is a more vibrant and competitive economy.

Copper and iron mining will become more accessible even for landowners with "bad" parcels. Miners have to find parcels with a high, so-called "boosted", value of raw materials in their surroundings and extract them before others. Even if their parcels have the same allocation of raw materials, owners with a "sharp eye" can make their parcels unique.
